Meditation, the art of calming the mind, cleansing the soul, and sitting for 10 to 15 minutes in complete silence.
I never thought I’d benefit so much from meditation, I’ve been doing it since November 25th of 22, and it has become part of my after exercise, and before work routine.
It clears my mind, de-stresses my brain, calms my nerves, and gets me ready for work.
"I remember when I first started meditation, it wasn’t as difficult as I thought, because my body definitely needed it."
"Time passes, still sitting with my eyes closed, thinking of literally everything, and nothing, I open my eyes to my smart band vibrating, “15 minutes have passed”, I reach out to my smart band and set a timer for another 30 minutes."
We all have busy lives, you might say you don’t have time for it. Well guess what, you do, it is just not a priority that is the problem.
Then how do you fix that?
First, you try as hard as you can to make it a priority,
next, you make it part of your morning habit,
whenever you feel overwhelmed and need to recharge, "Just Do it".
You can literally do it anywhere;
When you first experience the benefits of doing it, that is when it will stick and be an indispensable habit.
Mental and physical health should always be a priority, 30 minute of stress detoxication, is better than a full day of stress, and less productivity;
Grab a bottle of water,
Find a comfortable spot,
Clear your mind,
Breathe…
